Democracy Support Dialogues is a brand-new monthly podcast that will explore the European Union’s democracy support in the Eastern and Southern Neighbourhoods. From the best practices to the shortcomings of Europe’s democracy support agenda in its Neighbourhoods, this 12-part series will walk through the policies of a variety of institutions and states to harness our collective democratic knowledge. Join the host, Fabian Schöppner, as he speaks with a range of guests and experts on democracy support in Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Lebanon, Palestine and Tunisia as a part of the SHAPEDEM-EU project that sets out to rethink and reshape EU democracy support policies in its Eastern and Southern Neighbourhoods.

Democracy Support Dialogues is a podcast that takes a closer look at the European Union's support for democratic politics in its Eastern and Southern Neighbourhoods. This ninth episode features two conversations on the EU's support for gender equality and insections with EU democracy support. The first interview with Ekaterine Skhiladze, a human rights defender and activist, focuses on Georgia. The second interview is with Claudia Saba, Adjunct Professor of International Relations at the Blanquerna School of Communication and International Relations, Ramon Llull University, on Palestine.
